- Executive Committee
- The Chamber Executive Committee is comprised of the elected Board positions President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and the President/CEO. The Executive Committee meetings are closed meetings held monthly.
- Communications Committee
- Monthly eNewsletter
- Make announcements at meetings regarding upcoming events as needed
- Work with Event committee to communicate and fill volunteer needs as well as to recognize volunteer accomplishments
- Work with President/CEO and Marketing committee to aid in the creation of promotional materials (e.g. flyers, brochures, etc).
- Work with President/CEO to create content for social media
- Events Committee
- Look at city and school calendar to figure out what events are going on in the area
- Help with the planning of Chamber events
- Work with the Chamber to coordinate getting help from members with the events
- Ensure that budgets for events are achieved
- Relay event information to Communication Committee to get out to everyone
- Work with Membership/Marketing Committee and Communications Committee to plan events and have material available at events
- Finance Committee
- Audit monthly report vs bank statements
- Must have one non board member on the committee at all times
- Do budget audit yearly and to present to board
- Plan budget for upcoming year, which needs to be completed no later than September
- Make sure spending is under threshold or approved by board
- Membership/Marketing Committee
- Seek new businesses to join (prospecting/recruiting)
- Assist in communicating the benefits of membership to potential members
- Provide Chamber information to potential new business prospect(s), such as invitation to General Membership Meetings, invitation/ticket for prospect for Chamber Mixer to recruit prospect
- Encourage membership renewal/membership level benefit distinction
- Speak to businesses that did not renew their membership to discuss current membership levels and benefits
- Guide new and prospective members in introductions at meetings and follow up with them so they feel familiar with the Chamber/Chamber function

Meetings
Committee meetings (with the exception of the Executive Committee) are open to all Chamber Members and are held monthly at the Chamber office, 222 N. Main, at the following times:
Upon request, agendas are available prior to the meetings and minutes are available following approval.
- Communications Committee: Third Monday of the Month at 4pm
- Events Committee: Second Tuesday of the Month at 4pm
- Finance Committee: Third Monday of the Month at 5pm
- Membership/Marketing: Second Tuesday of the month at 3pm
- LEAD G: Second Monday of the Month at Noon

Mission
To improve the overall business climate and quality of life for the Goddard area through sponsorships of programs which promote, facilitate, and stimulate economic growth, civic participation and development, business advocacy, and education.
Committee Chairs
Committee Chairs are responsible for ensuring the Chamber has adequate resources to advance its mission through the efforts of communications, marketing/membership, finance, events and LEAD G. It's expected to provide good governance of each committee through, responsiveness, consensus oriented, participating and advocating inclusiveness of the general membership.
