Main Street Market Vendor Information


Goddard's Main Street Market will take place the second Sunday
April - September on Main Street and in Linear Park
from 2pm - 5pm.

The Market includes crafters, home-based merchants as well as businesses and community organizations.

PLEASE NOTE: Booth space will not be confirmed until payment is received in full. Payments made the day of the Market must be arranged with the Goddard Chamber in advance. If you represent a business that only allows one affiliate at each event, you must pay your registration at least one week in advance as there is often a waiting list.
 
Vendor Cost:
Vendor Cost is $25 per Market for a 15’x10’ space.
Food Trucks add $10 per Market.


NonProfits: Please use discount code: NP24 when registering for $10 off. You must be ready to show proof of 501(c) status.

An extra vendor space (for businesses requiring more than a 15’x10’ space)
is available for a $10 discount by using discount code: MSM224. You must be registered for at least two spaces to use this code.

Electricity is limited but can be added on a first come first served basis for $10. You must provide your own electrical cord.

Set up: Traffic will be blocked on Main Street from 2nd Street at 2pm so we ask that all vendors are set up by 1:45pm.

Vendor deliveries (which need to be made by vehicle) need to be completed.

Booth Assignments:
New this year, you are able to select your own booth location when registering. Booth selection will be done by first come first to register. Your booth selection WILL NOT be confirmed until payment is received.


Food Trucks: Parking will be on Santa Fe beginning at Main Street going to the East. Location is first come first served. When selecting space on the booth selection please choose one of the Food Truck Spaces numbered 300+.

Special Requests:
Special requests such as booth location, or booth placement for similar vendors, must be made in writing one week prior. All requests will be taken into consideration, however, we cannot guarantee booth placement. 

Please note: No Tables, Tents or Chairs will be provided. 


Check In:
All vendors (with the exception of Food Trucks) must enter onto Main Street from the North (Kellogg - US 54). Check in will be as you enter the barricaded area. Check in will begin at 12:30pm. (please do not arrive before 12:30 as you will not be allowed to check in early)

Refunds:
No refunds will be issued for any reason. No shows will be invoiced. All outstanding invoices for previous events (including no shows) must be paid before booth space will be confirmed.


Responsibility for Loss or Theft:
Vendors shall be solely responsible for any loss, theft or damage to property or work displayed and will not hold the City of Goddard or Goddard Chamber of Commerce for liability of such. By registering your booth, you agree to these terms.

Rejection:
The Goddard Main Street Market Committee reserves the right to reject any entry
for any reason. 


State Regulations:
Collecting Sales Tax at special events ensures a level playing field to all customers and vendors, maintains tax compliance with Kansas tax laws and regulations, and improves the local economy. Sales tax is paid to the retailer/vendor by the consumer, remitted to the State by the retailer/vendor and distributed by the State to the City and County where the sale is made. 

Kansas requires that all persons and entities making retail sales, collecting admissions, and/or renting a tangible personal property in Kansas, collect and remit sales tax,
even if selling only one time per year. This includes not-for-profit organizations that are not tax-exempt.
